Sometimes Communication Works, Sometimes Not So Much…

A fun dialog a friend shared that makes you a bit hopefully things can improve with dating in the #NewNormal.

Also special thanks to people who have been writing, following, and sharing their own experences. While we try to cover a bunch of topics here the dating stuff tends to get the best reaction, traction, and responae.

Best way to SHARE CONTENT, COMMENT, or TELL US WE_____ is on your social media platform of choice

Last comment before we start being sarcastic and being coy. While there are a few people that help write content for the site and their stories, we all thought best to write the site in a single entity – 1st person narrative. Always open to suggestions on how to improve, as well as busting the chops of articles with typos in them. Likely from being drunk and not caring too much (at that moment).

Now for some fun…

First, a short convo that could have gone sideways but actually didn’t turn out too bad.

Sometimes you come across a person that might have a nice picture but there’s nothing to not much in their profile. Over time you realize this is a instanct red flag, as it won’t go anywhere. Still, a degree of curiocity may linger and suck you in.

Ultimately, you just want to find out if your gut was right. Then again, sometime you come to learn that this person got burned at some point and is carrying some baggage. A lot of jaded people out there.

Next up: they say money doesn’t buy happiness. This person nevet got that memo. Hert check box is all ready to go. I’ve said this before in other posts. If the absolute first thing addressed in any personal conversation is related to money or wealth. You typically know what matters most to the other person.

I (at least) value someone like this. They make it loud and clear, properly managing expectations. While I don’t appreciate these people I do respect them.

This person I was completely thinking something one thing and got another. So it was a scammer but we someone must of appealed to their last scrap of humanity. They totally redeemed themselves and likely went home not thinking about what identity theft does to certain people.

Last, and by far the least. This person. Good and bad in every gender, creed, race, and religion but most people try to hide the hate (just a bit).
Important to call out this was on “Coffee Meets Bagel” not any of the apps that specifically focus on religion as a unifier.

Tell me how I’m doing! It’s okay to provide constructive criticism. I’m trying to get better at this.
