So in the 100+ years of women gaining the right to vote they have come a long way. Hearing on the news today that it is “National Transgender Day” made me reflect on gender roles in modern society.
I personally believe equality means the right to define who you are by have the ability to be treated with common respect and consideration for anything merrit based. Add to that being treated like everyone else in accordance to the general norms of the culture/community. Obviously legacy basis needs to be weeded out but you get what I’m saying…
Where am I going with this?
Times are a changing. A lot of females are acting more like dudes these days. Nothing wrong with being a strong women, but don’t be a A-hole.
When a guy is one we runs the risk of being put in his place by another guy. If a girl acts out and starts 💩 things get complicated.
Men have the ability to escalate matters, sometimes resulting in a violent act, but the end result typically concludes the matter. Things can be resolved and put to bed.
Women tend to not let things go. Even among themselves conflicts can fester for years on end with a darkness that grows inside of them. Part of the reason why it’s so hard for females to make friends with other females. Having known a number of these salty people the desire to find “friendship” typically manifests in other forms.
Okay no more BS philosophy…
Let’s raise a glass to a lady that likely owns a variety of pegging toys. Her honesty is commendable so no hate being tossed her way.
