The United Kingdom owns this phrase and while we primarily speak “English” in the United States UK people are very quick to point it how different it is and we haven’t been under the crown for 247 years.

I just feel it’s way more American to be an independant thinker

What I typcially do amongst my friends and toast to why we are out or together – sharing time and having a proper drink.

For example:
– To getting Jimmy laid!
– For 💩 n’ giggles
– To ‘keepin’ it real
– Because it’s Tuesday…
ETC…

The goal is to be creative, make a memory, and have something to laugh about.

If this is a classy setting, then put on your thinking cap and keep it proper.
I’m sure you can come up with something mildly cheeky, yet sophicated to motivate and stir the pot.
