Matched with a 27 year old smokeshow

– classic: didn’t write a profile, and honestly she didn’t need to.

Find out she works as an admin at one of those Man Spa places (not important but interesting enough to share)

We chat on the phone it goes okay. Right off the bat she mentions to me her ex passed away about 6 months ago.

<found that odd but I guess it’s part of the healing>

We agree to meet up and that’s when sh*t got weird.

Meet up spot is decent but just for drinks and a casual vibe. I could tell this girl had a highend vibe to her, so I wanted to go with it for a bit.

When we meet she gets into how most of her free time is spent with her dog and her ex’s kids.

I thought it was a bit odd she’s spending time with the ex’s kids so I bite and ask why?

Well this was where the story started to take some twists and turns.

Her ex was some investment guy who had a full life and family. In his late 40’s he splits from his ex-wife and goes about his life.

A few years later this girl meets him and it’s a whirlwind adventure from the start.
As I’m going into some of the cool stuff I’ve done she has a 1-up, 2-up, 3-up to match.

This becomes more of a curiosity to me now because something is off. We meet a few more times and I’ll truncate the rest of the story and just tell the interesting summary.

Turns out this girls ex ended up having some rare disease (I got what she told me). They dated for about 15 months and their adventures together were bucket-list items – week-over-week, month-over-month.
They go on a trip nearly every other week.
5 star every spot and she is showered in the finer things in live while traveling.

He also introduces her to his kids, the oldest his son who is a teenager 9 years younger than her.

All the while, he never says anything about this illness till the last 4/5 months were she tells me it all happened so quickly…

The whole thing is just odd and she won’t shut up about all the awesome places she went, all the fine restaurants she’s been to, and how her heart is broken he passed away.

After the 4^th date I realized I’m not going anywhere with this girl.

Last conversation I had with her I got the following information which made me laugh a bit but also feel sad…

• Did he leave you anything in his will?
  – No it all went to his kids
• Other than the trips what keepsakes or symbols of love were you given?
  – Huh, like jewelry? Our relationship wasn’t like that. We just had memories which is more important.
• Have you spoken to the ex-wife about things or formed a relationship with her?
  – No, she hated me for a long time but sometimes I watch the younger daughter when she’s out of town.

Net-Net – I stop talking to her and ask a friend who works for the seal to look up this guys death certificate.

He tells me the way things were written up, it was either euthanasia or suicide.

This is my assumption:
Decent looking guy (George Clooney looking salt n peppa – saw some pics) with a ex-wife and kids finds out he isn’t going to grow old gracefully. Whatever the situation was with the ex-wife decides I’m going out in style and gonna do me. Finds a smokeshow half his age. Treats her like gold and has the best year of his life. The girl understandably falls for him because it’s in the princess fantasy she had growing up <but sadly not real>.

It’s genius how he pulls it all off. Doesn’t say a word for a whole year. His bucket list, no gift giving, naïve hottie along for the ride, all the while his Ex-wife is forced to see this and is left holding the bag as a final F-U from him.

My heart goes out to the kids.
