Can’t Understand Normal Thinking

So this might be the post that turns a few women against me in the States.

Not sure if I’m the only one that ever felt this way but I never fully understood why the “See You Next Tuesday” word was seen (by some) as harsh and impactful. I personally feel there are worse things you can say <in the English language> far more disgusting and vile  – but for some reason this word  [only in the US] takes the cake causing some women to 180 degree flip-out.

Let’s Normalize C.U.N.T

I’m not even going to attempt to draw any parallels to other negative words that have been tamed over the year by certain groups of people have flipped words used against them – resulting in a positive slang use of that word among friends.

Defusing the power of any word makes it a lot less fun for people.

Especially the ones saying it, hoping for a negative reaction.

But language, while being spoken, is a practiced science allowing us to effectively communicate with one another. It easily misused, widely accepted in various misappropriated forms, and thus generally accepted to break the rules of it. Therefore, making it widely acceptable to subjectively manipulate it as you see fit.

By this logic we are (kind of) all wrong.

So… when a handful of people make a big deal – out of a word that is known to have different meanings, to different peoples/cultures, in a variety of ways (ranging from harmless + funny – to –  blind rage WTF it’s a power keg of BS that needs to be stopped.

Here’s some more fuzzy logical that makes sense: 250 years ago, the American States were part of the British empire. While we fought a war to no longer be under their tyranny and   influence; we kept a number of traditions they indoctrinated us with, simply to mess with them {saying “cheers”, love of stinky cheeses, the music of both national anthems being nearly identical in sound composition} as well as confuse them.

I’ll even go as far as saying – you can argue that the main reason the United States is still on the Imperial System of measurement  (only 1 of 3 in the world) directly relates to our instinctual believe that arrogant Brexit-Loving British people need to be reminded they suck and taken down a notch.

I mean – come on, as Americans we all know there is no way we can logically argue against the metric system.

Nor do we need to! Every red-blooded American knows our secret super-power lies in our imagination.

Having invented the “fake it to make it” attitude, fueled by our incredible false sense of confidence it’s our “God Given Right” to define any established norm and change to something that allows us to sleep better at night.

If the magic that is Hollywood has taught us anything it’s that if you can think of something and believe it to be true. Someone will eventually find a way to disprove the science against it’s current set of facts. Thus establishing reasonable doubt, which is pretty much the same as saying it “could have happened”

  • Ergo, now all my previous points make sense.

The only way to for America to fix itself is to go back the original formula developed for success.

*Pretty sure its at the end of the constitution somewhere.*

Make ourselves feel better by stealing something another culture invented then re-Americanize-ing it for our greater good. Not sure how C.U.N.T got taken off the rails but let’s put it back on track and rub it in the faces of these cheeky Brits.

I’m sure we are due for another World War.

100% Believe we will get the “Hat Trick” by bailing them out from a Russian-Chinese-Taliban something

Don’t be sad, it will all eventually make sense one day…

Tell me how I’m doing! It’s okay to provide constructive criticism. I’m trying to get better at this.
