Escape From NY, only off 27 Years

So ask yourself this question in the past 5, 10, 15, 20+ years have things gotten better?

I hate to say this but not in New York City. No political talk on this site but I think I know the reason why no one cares about people not paying for the Subway or PATH system anymore???
<and toss in a scarcastic comment about the other hot topic items tear NYC apart….>

Congestion Pricing will make the City Bank

These are the current tolls in place.

Average Number of People Traveling in the “Congestion Zone”

And the Congestion Tax / Toll / Charge

So beyond people wanting to go into the city. Put that off to the side for a second…

What about the people in Queens and Brooklyn trying to get off Long Island?
You’re now telling them to go to Staten Island or Northern Manhattan & The Bronx if they want to go to the mainland? Those crossings (especially the GWB + Cross Bronx EXP) are at maximum capacity already.

Sigh…

Cutting this short, I won’t get into the long winded gripe. Let’s focus on the hope that some sort of positive will come out of this. NYC is very good at reinventing itself so let’s forget about all the negativity of the past couple years and take a step back to glow in the 68% postive change track record the city has had in it’s history.

<I completely made up that number…. =)>

Tell me how I’m doing! It’s okay to provide constructive criticism. I’m trying to get better at this.
