At first, I thought I was being witty with the title, but this is an actual psychological condition.

“The Cinderella complex is a psychological condition that describes a woman’s fear of independence and an unconscious desire to be taken care of by someone else. The term was coined by Agatha Christie in a murder mystery novel, but Colette Dowling’s book brought the condition to worldwide attention in the 1980s.”

With online dating being what it is, now more than ever, this is the case. Sometimes, it feels like any girl cuter than a 7 has a 40% chance of being a BOT, 20% misleading photoshop/filter looks, 12% prostitute, 5% unsure if she’s had a lot of plastic surgery or wasn’t born a female, and NOW a growing percentage save me I live in >>___<< – please rescue me!

Come on! I’m all about people wanting to mix it up and finding their inner manifest-destiny, but I’m not your father, nor do I want to deal with the crumbs from another geography.

If you entertain the bullshit and think there’s nothing wrong with them, you’re rolling the dice.

Three possible scenarios you will deal with:

1. She has an agenda.

Depending on where you live or what you have to offer, they have in their mind a list of goals to accomplish. You are just an interchangeable part of the plan she will execute.

2. You’re going to get scammed and taken for.

Whether it’s before you meet, after the  first night, or a few years down the road, you are nothing more than a wallet and safety net. Hopefully, you have your fun, and it all cancels out in your mind as the cost of doing business. Make sure you’re smart about things.

3. She’s a dreamer

This is the “grass is always greener” (best case) when dealing with some from another country or east bumble-F ____. Fortune does favor the bold. Hopefully, the two of met when she was considering a change. These diamonds in the rough tend to be the more corrupted females, with many becoming jaded or turning dark as a result of A-holes and scumbags.

Nevertheless, flaws in the logic of anyone online actively seeking captain save-a-ho wanting to chat.

I will end with this:

In the new normal, common sense and rational thinking is no longer followed. So maybe I’m wrong here. Who the heck knows… But know this – the greater the opportunity for standardized equality, throughout the world, the more lies/cheats/scammer come into the mix.
