Guru is a Sanskrit term for a “mentor, guide, expert, or master” of certain knowledge or field. 

Keith Edward Elam, better known by his stage name Guru, was an American rapper, record producer and actor. He was a member of the hip hop duo Gang Starr, along with DJ Premier. He was known for his monotone voice, stylish rhyme flow+temp, and (most importantly) his positive message in his story telling.
